Another of my favorite stamps - of places I would like to visit! Mask an area of white cardstock, sponge on chalk inks, and while wet, lightly brush on Pearl-Ex over back ground. Stamp map with sepia ink, then stamp temple with black. Cut out with deckle scissors, age edges with soft sand ink.

Wow! Love this. The colors are gorgeous, and it sounds like you did a lot of work and planning to get them that way. I live in the Chicago suburbs and there is a fantastic Indian temple built near here. I've never been, but one of my Indian acquaintances has offered to take me and give me a tour sometime. Not the Taj Mahal, but probably the closest I'll ever get. Beautiful card, thanks for sharing.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
