Have you ever had a card which you made, was not totally happy with, then took it apart to recreate something else? Well that's how I ended up with this card. The focal piece started out on a totally different card, and after contemplating for months what to do with it, I finally decided it had to go! I used the focal piece to recreate a bday card for my mom. The greeting piece below was made by using a heart punch to make the corners. The scan is distorted, but there are two little inverted curves from the top of the heart shape, I think it's kinda cute IRL. It's my own spin on the ticket punch corner, which I do not have. I plan on using a regular 1/4" punch to create that same look w/o having to spend the money for it. Whoops there is a little dark spot on the left corner of the image, that is a spot on my scanner bed, and thankfully NOT on the card itself!
I am pleased at the end fate of this card. Thanks for looking!
