Prototype for a set I'd like to make for gifts and prizes! A few boo-boos, but I think I finally got the colors right. The envelope flaps will be stamped to match the stripes, as shown on the Thank You card. TFL!

Hey gals! I have to say that i am honored to have stumped you! It has never happened before and i don't know how to react!
The faux stripe paper "technique" really isn't a technique at all...just repetitive stamping! I used the skinny rectangle stamp from Shades of Nature and 4 colors of ink that kind of "go together", overlapping each color. Sometimes I stamped off some of the ink to keep any one color from overpowering the rest (like Only Orange on the Get well card); otherwise you won't get that "blending" effect. I'm sure you could use any solid stamp from any set, I just like the one from Shades of Nature because there aren't any true, straight edges...just adds a bit of whimsy, I think!
So that's it! Nothin' to it! The hardest part is picking the colors, since there's SO many to choose from!
