 | | One thing led to another and I decided to do a sort of journal or album using a black paper bag as the base. I can't keep from saving interesting things, bits and pieces, and what started it all was sorting out my postage stamp collection and finding the tiger and the leopard cat, which I'd never heard of. The stamps are from India, not sure where I got them unless my daughter and son in law sent me something when they went there.
I cut out photos from a Smithsonian magazine. The sentiment is a Seneca saying, a greeting card I saved. I tore a strip from a PBS TV guide and put that on the edge of the bag. The owl piece is covering it up. The International Owl Center is just a few miles from where I live and that's where the brochure came from. This will be a work in progress as I think it needs some texture.
Thanks for the challenge. I do have some wild animal stamps but just wasn't feeling that today. |
