More details on my blog:
Layers of ink
For this tag, I wanted bright and happy colors. The same floral was stamped three times, using masking tape to make it look like the flowers overlap.
Stamp the first flower on the tag and on masking paper. Mask it and stamp the second flower. Mask the second flower and stamp the third flower. Color with watercolors, letting the colors blend on the paper. Color the background too.
When the background is dry, stamp with a messy stitching stamp around the edges. Stamp dots with Distress Oxide Ink and small numbers with black ink. Tie with coordinating ribbons.
Stamp sentiments on white paper and cut into strips. Add highlights with a white gel pen.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
Anna-Karin
