Nine Patch Birthday

Fragments that remain project - the nine patch piece has been floating round my desk, and the peony was just to see what it looked like in one single colour, as the packaging has two shades. I embossed and sanded the matting layer of pink for a little more interest. Sentiment cut from gold mirror card.

I love how you took all those random scraps of paper and pulled them together into a cohesive card that resembles a quilt. The peony is the crowning touch and the gold sentiment sets the whole thing off beautifully. Love it.

Great card! I love the nine patch panel -- it's such an interesting pattern, and all the paper scraps coordinate really well. The gold sentiment really pops against the green.

Your nine patch design looks fantastic. I’m especially taken with the peony. Mine are in full bloom at the moment and smell wonderful. The gold sentiment stands out beautifully and gives the whole piece an elegant finish.
