 | | For the 1,000th Featured Stamper Challenge! Congrats to all who helped make that happen! The randomly selected Featured Stamper is Claudette aka lamoore and what a great choice! I was thoroughly inspired by her gallery, especially this card:
Artistically Inked Birthday by lamoore at Splitcoaststampers
For my case, I used the same paper pack (different pattern) and the same large die. I changed to portrait style instead of landscape. Like Claudette, I used a heat embossed sentiment but mine is in gold and die-cut into a circle. I omitted the leaves and gold embellishments, using gold sequins instead. There is gold foil trim in place of washi tape. I used a colored card base instead of white panel on pink card.
The die-cut and circle are cut from Metallic Premium cardstock in White Gold. When the light catches it just right, you can really see the gold effect. So pretty!
I had only one 6 x 6 sheet of the printed paper, which I trimmed & edged with gold foil. Then, I glued it down on the card base, but I made a mistake and glued it too far to the left. I could not redo it, so I went with it. What do you think? I think it works okay.
I hope you have been inspired, too! TFL
