Chat has selected Old Olive, Highland Heather, and Real Red as the Color Challenge colors this week. I added in some neutral Night of Navy and Real Red in the flowers which caused my purple to get darker - urgh.

Stacy has us following Lynn Harris in learning to paint Blue Grape Hyacinths. Lovely tutorial if you want to watch it. I left out the yellow and put red flowers i the background.

I love how the pink flows through and how you framed it with the taped edge. I really love how you can see the colors in the petals? do they call them that on those blooms? who knows. just pretty Nancy.
This is wonderful! I have had 2 friends text me this week letting me know they are praying for me. One knew I had a wedding this Sat and the other didn't.

I love the BG shadow blooms and how the colors flowed in your purple hyacinths. Great that you were able to cover two challenges. with your beautiful watercoloring.
