 | | My SIL's SIL's dad passed away last week. I wanted to get a card out to her. She lives in another state. I started off with inspiration from Michelle Pepper:

I thought I was going to use the pines in the BG, but it felt too busy. I hope to still CASE her card more closely in the future.
For my cutouts I took a piece of watercolor paper and using re-inkers and water I dabbed the color onto dry paper. Then I added a few splatters. I love the end results.
The recipient had posted a picture of her and her dad on FB. It looks like they had a close relationship. I felt like this little fawn and buck made me think of them. |
