900 challenges - that's a lot of love, care, encouragement, support, sympathy that has been sent out over the years. Our cards this week go to MariLynn who was a very early Teapotter herself. Just a couple of those butterflies are present in Ireland, and I've seen the classic swallowtail in Greece. For my card I went with the Colorado Hairstreak. I used blueprint sketch and wilted violet DOX to try to emulate the colour.
(My first upload didn't take - I used rusty hinge, old paper, vintage photo, antique linen and walnut stain for the background. Twinkling H2Os for spatter) ETA also lost in space when my first upload went AWOL, I used an HOTP butterfly stencil on the background layer before adding the stamped texture.
