 | | Nearly a year ago, a generous member of the PIF thread sent me a set of quote stamps with a witch theme. Recently, while making Halloween cards, I finally got to play with them.
This card came together pretty quickly, since the central image doesn't need much else. I wish I could credit the company who made her, but the writing on the packaging is mostly Chinese, which I can't read.
I started by gluing her to a slightly larger piece of light brown cardstock. I did this because it looked good, and because I wanted to reinforce the thin paper she's printed on.
Now I could add the metal flower brad without the risk of tearing the main image.
Next, I found some background paper that went well with her, cut it to size, and assembled all the layers.
Then, last of all, I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of the same light brown cardstock. After framing it with a slightly larger piece of black cardstock, I glued it to the card.
I don't remember who gave this stamp set to me, but thank you so much! I'm having so much fun playing with it! |
