This is for today's sketch challenge and alphabet challenge. This week the alphabet challenge is on letter E for embroidery. I was thinking about what to do (didn't want to do embroidery on my card) when both my girls reminded me that cross stitch is a type of embroidery so out came the Hoop La La stamp set.

I had this somewhat colorful gel print needing to be used so I added more color through a stencil kind of keeping to whatever color was below for placement through the stencil.

I was going for a sampler feel with the card and used markers direct to the stamp to get the two color effect. I stamped gold splatters on the card base and, to highlight the sentiment, I heat embossed the hoop and fussy cut it out.

This is beautiful. And time wise, stamping your stitches is so much faster than using thread. Great card.
