 | | This was an interesting challenge. I remember making these 'books' when I taught school. We would use these to illustrate vocabulary words for any subject. Students would write definitions and illustrate on each page. Anyway, I folded my computer paper but didn't like working with the thin white paper, so I measured one set of pages and cut cardstock to that size. It will fold to close. I only did two pages and found it a bit like scrapbooking without the photos.
Anyway, I dry embossed the white paper then used a blending brush with daffodil delight ink.
I heat embossed the flowers on crumb cake cardstock. Then I did the white wash technique, which is coloring the flowers with white craft ink mixed with water. I heat set that then used my clear Wink of Stella brush to add highland heather ink to the flowers. Then I fussy cut the flowers. The sentiments were punched with the double oval punch.
I hope it's okay that it's only 2 pages of the book. |
