The new large texture fades from Tim Holtz make it possible to emboss a much larger surface in just one go. I have many times wished for larger embossing folders and it is fun to just see such a large dry embossed paper. The design was just large enough for the A5 notebook I altered.
Start by embossing watercolor in the large embossing folder. Coat with gesso. When dry, paint with Distress Paint and mist with water to blend. Let dry. Remove some of the paint with a cloth.
Paint the numbers white. Stamp the background here and there with an alphabet stamp. Stamp the title and die cut with the coordinating dies. Die cut from Black Glitter paper too.
Die cut butterflies from left-over papers and let them fly over the page. Add stamped sentiments.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!

I love this altered notebook and glad you could get the larger embossing. Awesome colors and love every inch of it.
