Today a very good friend got some very bad news. I'm showing kindness to her with this card. The watercolored background was a discard from a failed painting. I cut it down and stamped birds and a treeline, spritzed with brown ink. A few purple gems with a twine bow finished this off.
Very simple to make tonight. Hoping for better days for my friend. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful card for a not great occasion. Your friend will appreciate your thoughtfulness I'm sure. Love the flight of birds and the way those grey blue mountains look misty in the background.

The watercolor background adds such a soft and peaceful feel to the scene, making it a truly heartfelt creation. The stamped birds and treeline enhance the comforting tone, beautifully capturing a sense of hope and encouragement. A thoughtful and meaningful design.

Isn’t it nice to be able to put our mistakes (or what we thought were mistakes) to use? Such a beautiful scene and I am sure it will help your friend to know you care.
