MMTPT872 Hope and Sand

Jacqueline is hosting this week's Teaparty where we are playing in/with the sand and sending cards to Ina.

I promise I sanded down some of the embossing and inking - I sanded it so much that I took off my first layer of stamped seagrass and I had to draw some back in.

After I finished, I am not sure this sentiment is appropriate so I will probably do a different card to send to Ina.

This is so pretty Nancy. I think the sentiment is fine - there's always hope. And, I particularly like the way you have the oval hanging off the edge and the embossed lines on the other side. Lovely, as usual.

Nancy, what a wonderful card. I love how you composed the words in the offset oval and how some of the background of the shore is embossed. Beautiful!!!

amazingly gorgeous ! The colors are so soft and delicate, and the seagulls in black are so perfect.. Superb scene.

This is stunning Nancy. The texture from the partial embossing looks fabulous -- I need to remember to try that sometime. But it's really all about the beautiful scene you created. I love every speck of "sand" and blade of grass. If you do decide to make a different card, I hope it's only the sentiment you change because I have no doubt Ina would love to sit and watch those birds along the shoreline. I do understand your hesitancy. In situations like this, it's really hard to know exactly what to say. But it is a beautiful sentiment whatever you decide. Awesome card, Nancy
