CC1046 Coloring

For the CAS challenge to color something, I pulled out this flower stamp thinking it wouldn't take very long to color and I could make a pretty fast CAS card. But it didn't go that way! LOL. I struggled. Maybe it was the colors? And the stamped image was a little dark to color or maybe I wasn't feeling the "traditional" image? Looking back, I experimented with multi-colored splatters which was fun. And I used white colored pencil and pen to go over the black to lighten up the image. So I learned some things!

This came out really pretty! I like the splatters and also interested in your technique to use the white pencil to lighten the image. I have some stamps that I am going to try this out with!

I love how this turned out. I'm glad you persevered and came up with some positive outcomes. I really like how you colored this and especially the splatters in two colors.

Such a lovely flower and beautifully colored. Love the blue framing and the postage stamp edging. Wonderful card.

I read your description with a bit of amusement but also a lot of empathy because it's certainly "been there; done that". I call it "adventures in crafting" and I call it a win when I learn something new in the process as well. I'd say it's a WIN-WIN here -- beautiful card; new crafty skills.
