 | | This is for the Color Challenge hosted by Mary. Her lovely colors are Real Red, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. The dessert option is Valentine's Day.
I decided to use the Baby Wipe technique. We have been babysitting our two month old granddaughter, so I knew we had baby wipes in the house.
I folded a wipe in fourths and put down drops of refill ink in the three colors to form a multiple colored ink pad on the wipe. The SCS tutorial states to use a solid stamp, but I opted for this detailed stamp with small solid areas. I thought it might work. Here's the tutorial:

I made stamped several hearts and chose to use this one which was a medium strength impression with good coverage. I die-cut the image into a square and cut a scallop mat in Gorgeous Grape. Stamped the sentiment from the same set in Real Red and die-cut a banner. At the bottom, I added a white die-cut heart border. Finished off with a bow matching Highland Heather.
Fun technique to use. I have more impressions to make other cards.
We hope you will join in and explore what you can do with these colors. TFL |
