The journal I use is not really landscape friendly. So I split the page to give it more of a landscape perspective. I wish my salt bloom trees had talked to me like hers did I really struggled to figure out where they were. Oh and I thought I had waited long enough for the wash with the salt to dry completely but I was wrong. So I ended up putting an evergreen where it smeared. Iâll let you guess which of the three was my cover up tree. With the snow area I decided to add a tiny snowman painted with a very tiny brush. Then I wrote the scripture in my lined notebook. I then traced it onto parchment paper. I flipped the parchment paper and traced on back side and then transferred it to the page. I used graphic markers to complete.

I think your salt blooms look great. You and Nancy both created terrific blooms on regular paper. I like how you designed the page. Your hand penned scripture is amazing. Great work. Your winter scene portrays cold! TFS

MariLynn, Your snowy scene is so pretty. You got some nice blooms with your salt reaction. I. love the shadow effects of your trees on the snow banks, the lake and that sweet snowman. Your handwritten Psalm is beautiful.

This is wonderful, MariLynn, and the snow hill above your water looks great. I love that you added the little snowman. My salt didn't work as the artist's salt did, either, as I wanted but yours did better than mine. Wonderful verse.
