| | I wanted an oversized card for the Grandchildren for the small project that I bought for them to fit inside. I have some 6x9 envelopes that this will fit in - I don't know how much the cost will be - the project isn't very heavy or bulky, so I'm hoping not much.
I used the Colorbok paper because it had a white center, and because it was thinner paper, it started to show when I embossed it. I sanded the web to make the entire web stand out, not just the center.
I used fun flock to make the spider a hairy one. I wish I had black fun flock, but the brown works. I put scraps of Glow in the Dark paper behind the spider so that the eyes and mouth would glow in the dark. I also put another spider body on the back side for dimension, and used a glue dot to adhere to the web.
I separated some bakers twine and used a single thread of the white part, colored with the blend, and attached taut between the circle and the spider.
I flicked the circle with and adhered with pop dot tape (just on the part above the matted web) |
