To soften up the background layer I added a piece of vellum and then die cut the circle and swirly piece. The flower was stamped using the Irresistible Blooms set and then die cut with the coordinating dies.

Goodness, this is lovely! Pretty peacock is one of my favorite colors. The use of the vellum is genius. And I love those die cuts; they are perfect for the sketch!
