 | | Two FS cards for me this week.
When I first looked at SawyerBean's gallery, I was drawn to this card:
Let’s Go Trick Or Treat! by SawyerBean at Splitcoaststampers
but I didn't like my first case attempt and went on to make another card. After some coffee, I decided to cut down the panel instead of trashing it. I turned it into a card for my youngest daughter who is addicted to coffee and Halloween. I am sending her a Starbucks gift card with it, and I know she will be thrilled.
I altered the tree a bit so some of the limbs matched the curling limb on SawyerBean's card, I included a spooky but different image, kept the nighttime focus, and added in some circles (mine are dark instead of white). I also included a lot more white space. |
