I chose these colors while wandering around the mall with my grand daughter when Mary sent me a msg saying were my colors ready yet.....gahhhhhh,,,,having grand daughters all month sure made me forget what I was supposed to be doing. So this idea had been floating around in my head for a while now only using a different stamp set- which did not work when I tried it - or at least not to my liking. I played and played and liked it with this new peony set. Phew!! I painted iwth the white reinker mixed with water - so pretty! Hope you all enjoy these challenging colors. Happy Tuesday everyone!

I love this beautiful card, Karen! The hexagonal frames are just perfect for the peony, and BTW, great job of coloring it so white and opaque. The layout is perfect, too. Thank you for this unique and wonderful color combo! I really enjoyed making my card this week!

I Do like these colors, Karen. They are perfect for a sympathy or masculine card, and I need both. In this case, your card looks quite feminine with the scalloped border and pretty bow! Lovely dp to back up this beautiful flower~

Oooo, I love it! I knew you would have something special and you did! Love the white painting on the Crumb Cake for the peony. The hexagon framing and kraft die-cut scallop edge are fantastic. Fabulous details to go with the lovely flower as the focal point. Using white to color images on kraft or Crumb Cake is one my favorite looks.
