 | | I needed to make a sympathy card for a friend who lost his spouse, and I wanted it to represent hope. What's more hopeful than a sunrise? I used a photo of sunrise over a marsh for inspiration and tried to duplicate the colors.
I masked a 1 inch circle over ivory cardstock, and used blending brushes to add the inks, from the sun outwards. I used distress oxide inks in tattered rose, victorian velvet, and shaded lilac.
I used Stampin Up's Inspired By Nature set for the grasses image, and stamped it using distress oxide ink in ground espresso. I matted the panel in coordinating colors. The card size is 5x7. Thanks for looking. |
