| | I started by stamping and coloring the Santa. I wasn't sure what to do with him, so I went to my favorite place to browse - SplitCoastStampers! I saw a card by MrsBoz - I copied the basic layout, changed up the EF and the ribbon.
I stamped the mat with Itty Bitty Background with the Pool Party, embossed, then used a blending brush to add Balmy Blue.
I colored the Santa with Lt Basic Black, Lt/Dk Pecan Pie, Lt Old Olive, Dk Real Red, and Nude Blends. I used a marker to add Pool Party to the snow. I used White Wink of Stella on the white of the Santa Suit.
I used the sentiment from the set on the inside, which doesn't say Merry Christmas. I decided I needed the card to say that, somewhere, so I found a small Merry Christmas that would fit on the front of the card. I used the Old Olive on the frame to pull in the color on the gloves.
