 | | Congratulations Laura (bzzzeee) on being this week's Featured Stamper! I was fascinated by this Twisted Ribbon card of Laura's. I guess I have been living under a rock because this is the first time I have ever seen this technique!
Things I changed: Different Papers, embossing folder, sentiment and embellishments. Plus flipped the layout.
I started by building my twisted ribbon with half inch strips of DSP - When I completed it, it felt like the ivory-green strips kinda got lost so I carefully edged each strip with a red sharpie and this gives it a little better presence. Embossed a white panel with snowflakes and framed both pieces with Raspberry Ripple.
I stamped the sentiment in Christmas Green and die cut to a circle. I left it in the die to draw in the gold inner circle with a gel pen. Die cut some of the Tim Holtz mini holiday greens and used that to embellish my sentiment. |
