So this is my story on how this fits the CAS flower challenge:
Have you scene the TicTok videos about Blind Date with a Book packages? When you order one, you can pick the genre of the book and that is all you get to pick. They surprise you an unknown book, some fun packaging and some little treats like tea and bookmarks and fun sayings. They decorate the wrapping really fun too.
I decided I would buy a book for my daughter for Mother's Day and decorate it like a Blind Date with a book. I decorated it and tucked in the card I made her, some tea and a Starbucks gift card. The book is called The Other Mothers - I really enjoyed reading it when I checked it out from the library. It was on a great sale at Amazon.
I count this as CAS because it took me very little time. I had already made the decorative panel a few years ago on a card, but the card got messed up and went in my recycle bin. I saw it this morning and thought it would be fun on this package. I made a few more flowers and glued them on, then splattered on some white paint, and added a few gold dots using Stickles. It didn't take much time and I think she will love it. I can see doing something similar with other cards I never sent.
