Thank you, MariLynn, Stacy and Angela, for hosting these two challenges. MariLynn I love your thoughts on looking for joy each day. I agree with you that God can take even the worst and saddest events and make something good and joyful. The hummingbird was my expression of joy on this card.
I chose this pin from the inspiration site, Mackenzie Myrick Studio. The copper brilliance of the hummingbird in the photo inspired my copper embossed hummingbird.
My hummer diecut was stamped, copper embossed and mounted, along with a copper diecut flower, on a hand stamped panel and matted with a dry embossed layer. The panels on the card base were dry embossed and sponged with Tea Die ink to add a little more depth.

This is so pretty and elegant. I really like shape of your focal panel, the beautiful embossing, the look of the tone on tone stamping, that beautiful hummingbird, everything. Very pretty!
