 | | Diane is hosting our color challenge this week with a beautifully classic fall combination. Two warm colors with a rich cool color. It's so fun to work with and for dessert we get one of my favorites - Texture!
I started pondering this combination by checking my drawer of die cuts and images and found this die cut greeting and thought it would go with this sketch I haven't used for a while. I had been thinking about doing another card with this sketch which looks kind of like the corner of a tablecloth going across the top of the card.
Since this has a dark, Pretty Peacock base I needed to add a piece for the inside and I took a quick photo with both the inside and outside before I glued it in. I usually don't add die cuts to the middle but these were extra and once closed the thicker parts of the card kind of balance each other out so I think it will mail OK.
