I've used the Christmas bauble stencil for this technique with metallic water colors, and the sentiment is made with a peel off sticker, I've peeled off the sticker after the painting, so that's how I've got the white sentiment

How did you get this so neat, with no water under your stencil? This is so pretty and I am imagining the shimmer. Great idea to reach for shimmer paints.
