Layers of ink
I wanted to combine a distressed and somewhat grungy background with gold, shine and shimmer. The background technique is also a fun one, with an embossing folder, mica spray, stamping and clear embossing powder.
Start by inking the background with light shades of grey. Stamp dots with purple ink. Ink the embossing folder with clear embossing ink and emboss. Cover the background with clear powder and shake off the excess. Emboss. Spray the background with Mica Stains. The embossed areas will resist the ink.
Die cut party hats from patterned and gold paper. Assemble. Die cut balloons and add sentiments to them. Adhere the balloons with foam tape.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
