Today, the weather was perfect to sit on the deck and celebrate National Coloring Day. I colored a stamp of a Lynx, which had a nature scene integrated into its back, using Prismacolor pencils.
Although creating the background was fun, it was also nerve-racking. Every time I stamped, I risked ruining the Lynx I had just colored. However, despite some setbacks, I created a background for the Lynx by stamping a landscape stamp multiple times. I used Stampin Up inks to color the background, and I'm happy with how it turned out. Despite the Lynx getting injured during the process, it was all worth it in the end.
Thanks for looking and try and get some coloring in today
**To selectively stamp the background I used a combination of washi tape, the measurements on my stamping platform and carefully wiping the ink off the stamp in necessary places.

You have got to be kidding me! This is so beyond and above anything I have seen in a long while. I love everthing about this, the lynx, the waterfall and mountain stamping, and the amazing scene on the lynx.

That is one amazing stamp and card! I really like the background stamping....you said you had problems doing that...did you mask it? If you don't know what I'm talking about search for it in the tutorial section. Very cool card...thanks for sharing it Brian.

Your talented skills appear to look like a double exposed photo, and kudos to you for venturing that risk of masterfully stamping and coloring one image and adding the other. Great job!!

I was going to say the same as Polly, did you mask the image? It might have been less stressful - nothing worse than something spoiling a card near the end after a lot of work. Your image is amazing and reminds me of a triptych jigsaw I have with camouflaged bears, wolves and eagles in it.
