Teapotters Challenge: Gladiolus for Faithfulness
Use a gladiolus, an embossed piece and a bit of red.
I colored a Wine & Roses Gladiolus. This variation is described as a two-color flower: pink with a kiss of red. The gladiolus was stamped in Basic Gray and colored with Blends Markers. Then the panel was die-cut with a stitched rectangle die. The pink panel was embossed with a script folder. Then craft white ink was lightly dragged over the very top. Used a few rhinestones and Wink of Stella on the flowers.
I chose the Think of You sentiment to represent faithfulness, inspired by the example of dear friends who have thought of us during difficult times and faithfully prayed & encouraged us. Taking the time to let someone know you are thinking of them can mean so much when times are tough. TFL

Wow, Diane, I totally love the colors you did the paper and flowers in! Everything goes together so perfectly. The flowers are super pretty too. A lovely card - lovely in so many ways. Hugz

Beautiful card...I especially like the script bg with the white over the top to bring out the writing. I really like what you said in your last paragraph ...sending a card just because is always appreciated by the recipient.

Super job on that script folder and getting the wording highlighted! "Wine & Roses" gladiolus - I had to go research that and it is indeed a magnificent flower and you captured it well with your coloring.
