Thank you for hosting, Nancy. We are honoring Kathy aka Muscrat as our Featured Stamper. Kathy, you are the queen of techniques and fancy folds! What an outstanding gallery! I went all the way back to one of your earlier entries and found this great card:
Kathy, I kept your Proverbs 16:24 scripture verse, the honeybee theme and your general layout, but changed the stamp set and dsp. In honor of you, the technique queen, I created the background panel with the Frosted Filter technique. My white panel was stamped and clear embossed and then matted with a Darling Details die cut. The sentiment was computer generated and die cut. I used an Ornate Layers die to create the cutout design on the green strip.
Sabrina is our Technique Challenge hostess and our technique is Frosted Filters. I used Brushos to color my coffee filter, then stenciled over that with a honeycomb stencil. Thank you, Sabrina, for this fun technique challenge. Kathy, enjoy your week as our Featured Stamper.

I like the subtle stamping on your coffee filter - it makes a very moody bg for your bee and flowers. Well done on the case of Kathy's card and making this truly your own.

How cool to have this verse. I have it too on a little coaster which I have in a little easel stand. This is glorious and rich looking in those pretty greens. I love your die combo and sweet stamping. So neat to honor Kathy with that technique!!

Great combination of stencilling with the frosted filter background and a favourite verse of mine to use on cards. Fun to see it with green instead of traditional bee colours.
