And it reminded me that I had recently cut up some old Christmas cards to recycle into new cards and one had a snowy looking bokeh design that would go perfectly with a reindeer die I had not yet used. I kept Susanâs Christmas theme and snowy reindeer design, but I changed gold to silver and used a die cut rather than stamped image for the deer.
I made a card base from black cardstock and glued a white piece inside. I trimmed the recycled card piece and glued to the black card front. I die cut the reindeer from silver cardstock and glued to the card front. I stamped the sentiment on a black cardstock scrap and embossed with detail silver powder. I trimmed around the edge of the sentiment and attached to the card front with foam tape, then finished by scattering several clear gem stickers around the card front.
Congratulations, Susan, hope your FS week was fabulous!

Beautiful! i love the somewhat blurry, snowy bg you make with a recycled card. It does remind me of Susan's bg. That reindeer die is gorgeous. I am so glad you let it really stand out and be the star on this card. This has a very peaceful, wintry feel to it. Wonderful card.
