I've painted all with van Bleiswijck angular 18 brush just added some white with the gel pen at the end and the splatters with a small brush
I'm not sure neither about the leaves and the stem, when I think about hydrangea I don't remember a long small stem but it is what it is the sentiment is just saying hello

I think they grow on bushes so they have to be sturdy stems no matter what to support the weight of the bloom clusters I think. ( but, I do know what you mean, I find it easier to paint things I see in real life than imaginary things) the color flow on the leaves and petals here is so pretty Anita.
