Karen has a beautiful gallery and I chose her Shimmering Slimline card. I loved the DSP she used and the background made me think of this new SSS background stamp I recently bought. I stamped the Christmas Star with versamark, embossed with detail white powder, then added the die cut forest border with sea shimmer and white over it. The panel was placed on the pure poppy card base and the sentiment added. Here's her lovely card.

This is so lovely. That bg stamp is gorgeous and your white embossing on kraft looks fabulous. Love the white overlay on the soft green for the foliage border. Wonderful holiday card -- well, wonderful anytime card.

Sue, the stacked die cuts look stunning here and love that background stamp. What a great Christmas card/case. Hugz

Using the border punch on the bottom of you card is unexpected and so effective. In addition layering the green and white on the kraft works perfectly. There isn't an element on this card I don't love! Well done, Sue, and thank you for choosing one of my cards and playing along.
