 | | Making my own MIXed media challenge this morning while I have stamping time, and using up a die-cut background which didn't work for its intended purpose.
Put a darkish coloured gel print on the card base. Sponged my die-cut panel with DOX inks, spattered with water and stamped the grid and sentiment. The butterfly was sitting unused from an upcoming challenge sample, and I added a birthday sentiment because I've just organised all my April birthdays and need to replenish my stash. Edged with Stickles, some on the butterfly wings and some trios of dots. I used silicone glue to pop the layer up fractionally above the gel print behind. |
