As I mentioned in a recent upload, I personally don't feel dies are needed for a lot of interactive cards, but the fact that for this one you need to trace or print the shutter elements and then accurately cut the curves means that I have only ever made three by hand - so I did recently spring for the dies on sale. Lucky coincidence, the aperture is the perfect size to pair with my camera die. Jen challenged us to see how many words we could fit on our card. I gave some thought to creating my own word background, but it would have taken a lot of time, and for $3 I reckoned I'd get several uses from my purchased background (canstockphoto). Coloured, fussy-cut and added my photographer cat to the front.

It's perfect! Now you make me want to go out and buy that die too. Awesome background for that sweet photographer cat. Claire was actually my wedding photographer. She's going to love this!

awesome shutter card.. I bought a die set, actually two different ones, to make this type of card - but have never made one. My practice "shutter" does not open and close easily.. This card came out great !!! Good job..

Awesome, Clever, Creative! I LOVE how you paired the LF die with the camera. It's perfect and it's perfect for this Tea Party. The PB kitty is the cutest photog yet and that bg was well worth the $3. I imagine you using it quite a bit. Love just the bits of color and then the bright sunny greeting inside the aperture. You really nailed it Sabrina. Brilliant card!
