Birthday Gate
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Wasilly

Wanted to play around and do something different, so I created a birthday gate from the Halloween graveyard gate. I stamped red ink onto gray paper and then used a brown marker to solidify the top of the posts. The banner was a challenge: I used a black marker to ink up the outline and cut it out, and then had to look through my stash of photopolymer letter stamps to find some that would fit. It took a couple tries to get the "happy birthday" letters to space out correctly. The clouds came from an old retired SU! set. I thought the card needed a cute animal or something in front of one of the posts but decided to leave it as is. The balloons and leaves were colored with markers and colored pencils.

Have not seen those darling balloons in quite a while. Great way to use them!
