I have loved Orla Kiely designs ever since I first saw them. Love the simplicity, the mid century vibe and the colors. I hadn't done Polly's WT yet so decided I could incorporate that, since that room looks warm and cozy to me.
Long ago I worked in a very nice women's clothing store and bought several boiled wool jackets. I used a piece of the jacket for my centerpiece. Why, you ask, did I cut into my beautiful jacket? Because moths thought it was delicious. I was very sad but didn't throw it away. I used some scraps of cs and dp and a fuzzy brown plaid paper that I had never cut into, bought long ago. I knew I had this cozy sentiment so it all worked out. Thanks for the challenges!

Your card looks very warm and cozy. So sorry about those horrible moths ruining your jacket but it looks great here.

So pretty, I have read about people doing something to old wool sweaters to make hmmm wool art things now my mind just went blank. but, what caught my eye about it is the pattern to it, rather than just a solid color kwim? this is really neat Jean.

What a splendid idea to repurpose your jacket in that way. I could just pull that card over me and have a nap! I love your beautiful patterns in the wool and paper and so wonderful you have that perfect sentiment!
