 | | Congratulations to Leslie Turner aka turnerl58 as Featured Stamper FS821. I enjoyed her gallery and found several I previously had noticed and loved.
I chose to case Balance note card by turnerl58 at Splitcoaststampers so I could use my favorite alphabet and koi - because I have never used them together and knew they would play well.
I kept her landscape format, but my ripples looked more on top of the water than center and the first try proved a fish looked out of water. I therefore stamped ripples on either side of center and added droplets falling from the airborne. I covered the larger center ripple with my sentiment. I rather wish I had stamped the word balance with teal ink rather than introducing black, so I added black marker to the eyes.
