More details on my blog:
Layers of ink
I made a little gift box for my youngest, recycling a box which was packaging for something (I can't quite remember what it was). The bat becomes a fridge magnet and can be removed from the box. Coat the box with gesso. Place the moon mask on the front and paint with Distress Paint. Use the moon stencil and sponge grey paint. Sponge white paint through a star stencil and add smaller stars with a white gel pen.
Stamp the bat and apply masking liquid to the eyes and teeth. Smear Black Soot Distress Ink on a non-stick craft sheet. Mist with water and press the bat into the ink. When dry, add shading with a black Distress Watercolor Pencil. Add highlights with a white gel pen and Glossy Accents to the eyes and teeth.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
