I couldn't get to it till yesterday, and then it took all day to dry. Plan A (I'd gone with green watercolours, and purple, yellow and blue to colour my salt) had been a Christmas card. But it looked nothing like that this morning, instead it suggested the sea. So I cut the shells and sponged them. Added a net cut from pearlescent silver, popped the shells up on foam and also the sentiment. I used some of the same inks for sponging the sentiment, also the base, and stamped both sentiment and base with the same bubbly stamp from Art Journey which includes a little heart in a couple of the bubbles, so I thought it tied in well with the sentiment. |
