Karen gave us some lovely colors today. Needed to make a sympathy card for a dear classmate who passed away. Very simple card with brush strokes for the leaves and berries. I started by printing the sentiment with Carlington font and painted the foliage. Embossed the border and scored the card front. Inside says...and may peace quietly return to your heart. TFL

Linda, you are a constant inspiration to me! Thank you for mentioning the name of this beautiful font. Sympathy cards are always sad, I know, but this one will bring such comfort to the recipient. Love the watercoloring.

Oh my Linda, this is a beautiful sympathy card with such an unusual heartfelt sentiment. The gorgeous embossed edges around your focal point is extraordinaire along with your wonderful water coloring! This is a true beauty!

Beautifully done. Love how you used the challenge colors for the berries and yellow/green leaves. So pretty. Excellent for a sympathy card. Love the verse. Well done.
