Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she is getting us into the spirit of Autumn with her colors: Gorgeous Grape, Daffodil Delight, and Pumpkin Pie. The dessert option is Halloween or Fall.
I participated in an online series of classes last weekend, and this is my version of one of the cards we made. I added Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Gathered Twigs DOX, all of which are neutrals, to Mary's palette. What a lot of ink pads I had on my desk!
This hand-made patterned paper was created with a set of four stencils. The concept is ingenious: While sponging/brushing the different colors through the stencils, you are actually making three different slimline card fronts. I've shown my other two behind my card. There's lots and lots of sponging, but the stencils make it very easy.
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

Beautiful cards Barbara! And I thought I recognized the stamps - I attended the same classes! (Although I did more watching than card making.) I didn't make any cards in this session but I plan to.

Barbara these are gorgeous fall cards, I especially like the one on the left with the open space in the middle for a sentiment! These don't look stenciled but like designer paper! The class looks like it was a fun one! All are beautiful designs! TFS
