For today's TLC, we are remembering Dee Gruenig, the founder of Posh Impressions Co. and the developer of the Rainbow inks and sponges. She recently died and Lori (artzadonistudio) thought a TLC in her style would be appropriate. Your goal is to sponge, use bright colors and lots of them and big, bold images. I happen to have the Rainbow inks and sponges, some are metallic and that is what the big zig zag is, using the sponge. These inks are very fun to use, albeit a bit messy. I'm actually a slob, got a bit on a shirt I was wearing but I treated it immediately and it came out. Yay! I stamped the large background stamp with a pink ink and clear embossed. A few gold Stickles and a creative sentiment complete this project. I hope you'll join me in honoring the memory of Dee.

What a great challenge. I am totally unfamiliar with Dee and her artistic innovations. Being relatively new to card crafting compared to those of you who have been doing this for 20 years or more, I am always intrigued to learn of those who paved the way. Your card has fun brilliance to it. I am going to see if I can make something bold, too.

Such a fun challenge, out of my safety zone, but I think I'll do this again! Wow, look at me go! Love your pink in the bg, and the sponging is FABulous, mf!!!

Another beauty! I can completely relate to the slob element of crafting as I am guilty of it as well! But I sure do you have fun and it looks like you do as well….this is so beautiful

I thought you had doodled the background. What a super-fun background stamp. I'm very impressed with your zigzag sponging, I don't think I'd even try something like that.

A stunning tribute to Dee. I, too, thought you doodled the BG. Your sentiment is perfect! It's what I am creating right now, instead of making cards, but the two will eventually collide!
