 | | This 500 mile marker makes me smile. The Mix-Ability challenges have encouraged me to explore new mediums and techniques. About 5 or 6 years ago I would look at someoneâs watercolor and say I wish I could do that. I also would see handwritten sentiments and I wanted to do it. With a lot of mistakes and a lot of failures I am getting to a place where I like my watercolor paintings and I actually like writing. I give a lot of credit to the support I have had from fellow mixability members. They have been a big encouragement. We are encouraged to have 500 in our project. I have a 5 0 0 on this page in my bible.(well it was printed by the publisher but they are there.) in my mind was if I journal psalm 50:10. That 50x10=500. So that is my story and Iâm sticking to it. I sketched my cows with a pencil then watercolored. The pages of my bible are cream colored and I wanted the cows to be white so I used a white gel pen. I used colored pencils to define the hills. I used a black ink pen to doodle around the edges and to write the sentiment. Thanks for looking and happy 500. |
