A place that I have always wanted to see....Machu Picchu, Peru in the Andes. Everyone who I've known that has been there says it is incredible. Unfortunately, a number of them got altitude sickness. It's high altitude and a lot of climbing.

I love how sketchy this is. The Andes are truly high, and not for me, with an awful fear of heights!!

So love that you drew your own adventures and weren't constrained by your supply of stamps. I really like how it looks misty and mysterious. I'd love to visit it as well, but I don't do well with altitude, so maybe this is one I should stick to photos of.

Just beautiful. Maybe you will get there, I hope so! I would be sure that my aunt was well past retirement age when she went and thoroughly enjoyed it, plus a visit to the Galapagos. I guess she was lucky, no altitude sickness for her.
