I also used a round ornament as my main focal point, and embossed snowflakes on a center strip of cardstock.
Things I changed to make the card my own:
I used a different ornament stamp set, which includes a cat.
I used a different sentiment, that ties in with the cat image.
I used a different embossing folder, but still a snowflake pattern.
I used a different color scheme with white, tan, green, and mauve.
I used patterned paper as my background.
I did not use gold twine/trim or a bow on my design.
For my card, I started with a patterned paper that reminds me of ornaments. I embossed the snowflakes on a strip of mauve colored cardstock and attached that as well.
I stamped the cat/ornament image and colored with alcohol markers and used the coordinating die. I hand cut a thin strip of black cardstock as the ornament string. I stamped and hand cut the sentiment. This is not where I intended to place the sentiment, but it was necessary to cover up a boo-boo!!

Adorable. Love that cute image and the non-traditional Christmas colors. Both that great dp and the ef add to the festive, fun feel of this wonderful card.
